Welcome Home

At Blaine Christian Fellowship we share a common love for God; we share similar experiences in knowing Jesus and the life in Him. We love to worship together and desire to grow together in Him.

We desire to be a spiritual community: serving God, growing into Christ in all aspects of life, and living out our faith in the Triune God, together pursuing Biblical Christian living in its fullness, influencing the community of Blaine and beyond toward faith in Jesus Christ.

"We are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."  Ephesians 4:15-16 (NASB)

Core Values

Compassion - We continue the ministry of Jesus, showing the good news of God's kingdom to the least of this world. (Matthew 25:34-40)

Mission - We share the good news of Jesus Christ with our neighbors and community and support those sharing the good news around the world. (Matthew 28:16-20)

Discipleship - We pursue Christ-likeness by learning from and teaching one another, spending time in prayer, learning and studying scripture, and authentic obedience. (Ephesians 4:16)

Community - We intentionally nurture authentic relationships with other believers, worshipping, praying, and living our lives on mission together. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Worship - We praise God in his glory and greatness both in our meeting together and by honoring him in all aspects of our lives. (1 Chronicles 16:23-29)

Statement of Faith

We believe in...

  1. The divine inspiration of the Scripture, and its trustworthiness and truthfulness, and its supreme authority in all matter of faith and conduct.
  2. One God, the creator of heaven and earth, eternally existing as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  3. The sovereignty and grace of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in creation, providence, revelation.
  4. Jesus Christ the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, very God and very man.
  5. The creation, test and fall of man, his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness.
  6. That Jesus Christ died for our sins, that He was buried and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scripture.
  7. The substitutionary death of Christ as the sole ground of our salvation.
  8. The ordinance of water baptism of believers.
  9. The ordinance of the Lord's Supper for believers.
  10. The baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  11. The operation of gifts of the Holy Spirit.
  12. The eternal life of the believer.
  13. The one universal church, the body of Jesus Christ, and her local expressions, local churches.
  14. The reality and personality of Satan.
  15. The bodily ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ to heaven, His enthronement, and His personal and visible return to His church.

We also embrace both the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed as documents to summarize the orthodoxy of Christian faith.

Our Church History and Associations

Blaine Christian Fellowship began as a church plant of Life Church White Rock (formerly White Rock Christian Fellowship), Surrey, B.C. As the number of attending church from Blaine increased, a desire grew to have a similar fellowship located in Blaine.  Several couples from White Rock Christian Fellowship who lived in Blaine began meeting on Wednesday nights for home fellowship.  Soon this expanded to include meeting on Sunday evenings, and included people from the community who did not attend church in White Rock. The incorporation of Blaine Christian Fellowship as a church plant of White Rock Christian Fellowship was a natural outcome of these meetings.  We remain in close fellowship with LCWR and all the LCWR church plants.
