Community Assistance Program (CAP)

CAP (The Community Assistance Program) is an outreach of Blaine area churches, providing community-based social services to residents of Blaine, Birch Bay, Custer, and Point Roberts.

CAP serves people who are in need of assistance in meeting their basic requirements for food, clothing, and other necessities of daily living.  Their programs include:  Crisis Assistance, Clothing Assistance, Food Connection, Community Toy Store, and Thanksgiving Baskets.

Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic

The Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic (WCPC) is a non-profit agency that desires to help and support men and women facing an unplanned pregnancy; to offer information on options; to equip teens for healthy relationships; and to help men, women, and families cope with the effects of abortion.

The Bridge At Birch Bay

The Bridge is a unique and expandable non-profit model for providing community services. It is purposely designed to facilitate unity within the community by bringing people together, bridging gaps, and meeting needs.  Community members connecting with one another through mentoring relationships will help promote stability, health, and wholeness where most needed. The ultimate goal is to bring real and sustainable change into people’s lives, and thus bring hope for a better and brighter future for the community as a whole.
